FSC Certified — Sustainable Sourcing

Our kraft-laminated packaging series holds FSC chain-of-custody certification, verifying the paper layer is sourced legally and sustainably. Request the FSC certificate with your kraft order.
REACH & RoHS — Restricted Substances

EU REACH & RoHS compliant: our inks, adhesives and processing aids contain no restricted hazardous substances. Test reports available for EU and similar markets with orders.
Degradable & Recyclable Options

Our PLA pouches can be third-party tested to EN 13432 (EU) / ASTM D6400 (North America) for compostability. Recyclable mono-material PE structures with limited ink coverage are available.
Environmental Management Practices

Beyond certifications, our environmental management includes solvent emission treatment, water-based inks where feasible, recyclable waste sorting and line-level energy monitoring.

Lamination & Surface Films

Choose lamination when your pouch needs surface protection or a specific gloss, matte or soft-touch feel. On flexible packaging the outer film layer is part of the structure, so the choice affects protection, printing contrast and sealing behaviour together.

FDA — US Food-Contact Standard

Our food-grade structures comply with the relevant sections of FDA 21 CFR (Title 21 of the US Code of Federal Regulations, sections 175-178 covering adhesives, coatings and food-contact substances). FDA test reports are provided for food packaging orders to the US market.
EU FCM — Food Contact Materials

For the European market, structures comply with EU Regulation 10/2011 on plastic food-contact materials, supported by a declaration of compliance covering the film, inks and adhesives used. Migration limits are confirmed against the intended food type and temperature.
Heavy Metal Testing — Safe Inks

Our inks are formulated lead-free and cadmium-free. Third-party heavy metal testing (for example SGS reports covering lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium) can be arranged on request for the specific colors and structure of your order.

ISO 9001 — Quality Management, Audited

Ecopak operates a certified ISO 9001 quality management system audited alongside SMETA and TUV — documented incoming control, in-process checks, batch records and corrective actions. The certificate is provided on request.
Labor & Workplace Standards

Our 235 employees work under documented labor contracts with occupational health and safety training, protective equipment appropriate to each position, and a grievance channel. Working hours and rest days follow local labor regulations.
Third-Party Social Audits

We cooperate with third-party social responsibility audits required by customers — including BSCI and SEDEX frameworks — by providing site access, labor and safety records. When your buyer requires an audit, tell us the framework and timeline and we will arrange it.
